When Tech And Innovation Met NYFW: Some Of Our Favorite Moments

Neon and holograms and drag princesses oh my

Getting straight to the point, Cool Hunting created an Fashion + Tech pop-up at the new SuperPier in Chelsea, shining a spot-light on some of our favorite examples of wearable design (like the harp cape below).

Coca Rocha and Giles Deacon's "Lexus Design Disrupted"

As part of highly choreographed multi-media extravaganza, including holograms, projection mapping and 3d technology, model dujour Coca Rocha channeled her inner Tilda Swinton with dramatic motions and epic sweeps we can only assume were inspired by the furies. A great way to use technology to make a normally boring event (NYFW) exciting and new, we aplaud the whole team at MILK for setting the bar higher on creativity in fashion.

Directed by duo Radical Friend and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, and with HEALTH supplying the score, the performance was created to help add electricity, almost literally, to designer Giles Deacon's 2014 collection.
