Watch A Bunch Of Rodents Run Around A Turntable Because, Why Not?

Hamsters, mice, gerbils, and other little critters do their best to wreck some vinyl.

Yesterday we featured goldfish controlling a DJ set, today it's the turn of rodents to climb into the booth and show us their mixing skills—or, at least, their skills at running around on top of a spinning record. The spinning turntable acts like a horizontal exercise wheel as hamsters, mice, gerbils and other little critters take to it and appear like they're scratching, on a frenetic run, or just letting the wheel do the work as they take some chill time.

The piece was made by Division Of Labor to entertain the crowds during Live Nation concerts—and if you're worried about the safety of the vinyl, then unfortunately its fate is never revealed (but let's just say you wouldn't use your rare 1980s Acid House collection for this). As for the animals, the film assures us that they were handled by pros and no harm came to them.

So have a watch below, it might only be a minute and a half long but it's time well spent.
