Over the course of his career, Theodor Geisel illustrated and wrote 60 books as himself and his pen name, Dr. Seuss. His works have been memorialized in an arts organization, focusing on his artwork outside his children's books. The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum, opened its doors on June 3rd in Springfield, Massachusetts where Geisel was born in 1904.

The museum is a charming paradise filled with opportunities for kids and adults to act out their favorite Seuss moments, while also peering into the unknown corners of the author and cartoonist's life. The museum divides itself into family-friendly activities including vocabulary and story-telling games, to interactive toys that incorporate sound. On the second floor, the museum shines a light on Geisel's personal life and spaces. The artist's studio and living room, which is filled with furniture and belongings, offers a window into the artist's life. The living room replica exhibits a handful of Geisel's oil paintings alongside personal photographs and correspondence.
