The work of Daito Manabe never ceases to amaze. The Japanese artist, who has choreographed dances with drones and transformed human faces into digital drum machines, combines technology and movement again in right brain, a performance by elevenplay. As seen in the video above, released by Manabe over the weekend, human dancers are set in a virtual world where they can spin light paintings with their motions and manipulate illuminated stars. As shown in the process video below, Manabe and the team at Rhizomatiks used a computer vision and camera system to project media onto different planes or grids in space. Watch right brain above, and for more more on Manabe, check out our past coverage here.
