Daft Punk DJs a Club with Ghostbusters In This Video Mashup

Antonio Maria Da Silva's new mashup is full of your favorite movie characters clubbing.

In Antonio Maria Da Silva's new mashup, HELL'S CLUB PART TWO ANOTHER NIGHT, Daft Punk spins disks while every iteration of James Bond smokes cigarettes with Hunter S. Thompson, the Ghostbusters bust Patrick Swayze's ghost, Blade fights Ridley Scott's aliens, and somehow BB-8 is caught in a crossfire.

Da Silva uses club tropes like bad, uniform lighting—usually used to make people look more beautiful than they actually are—to make his editing look almost seamless. He's cutting and stitching together multiple scenes from many different movies into a single frame. The brilliant thing about this series, which we first saw late last year, is how we ignore smudged make-up or douchey haircuts when we meet someone on the dancefloor because of the lighting, the music, and the pure joy of watching the fantastical spectacles like Wesley Snipes sticking a shotgun in an alien's mouth.
