If you love step-by-step recipes, then you’ll delight in director PES’ new stop-motion short, Fresh Guacamole. In the film, he uses familiar objects disguised as ingredients to whip up the Mexican dip, scooping out a hand grenade (avocado), chopping up a baseball (onion), and mixing in a few dice, golf ball juice, and a couple other ingredients you’ll have to uncover for yourself.Fresh Guacamole is featured in Showtime’s Short Stories series and is follow-up to PES’ 2008 viral smash, Western Spaghetti. It may sound a bit bizarre, but we think Guacamole is super inventive and sure makes cooking look a lot more exciting. After all, it’s not every day that poker chips are used as nacho chips. Despite how good his new film might look, we’re bummed it’s inedible.
