The Creators Project's bi-weekly roundup of the most exciting, outlandish, and mind-expanding art.

In the second episode of Culture Beat, The Creators Project's bi-weekly roundup of the most exciting, outlandish, and mind-expanding art, we spend the day at the Afropunk music festival in Brooklyn. We follow the unique and colorful style of festivalgoers and visit with performing bands. We then take a look at the viral sensations that are Landon Meier’s hyperrealistic flesh masks. From presidential candidates, famous actors and angry babies, we get a first hand look at how this traditionally trained sculptor went rogue. Finally, we join surveillance artist Trevor Paglen at the bottom of the ocean floor off the coast of Miami to investigate the internet’s greatest mystery.
