Enter a galaxy of spatial awareness at ClinK, the new interactive audiovisual and sound installation collaboration by German art collective Wisp, a.k.a., Markus Schuricht, Felix Deufel, and Paul Schengber. For their immersive exploration into 3D sound, the artists filled a black room with 30 speakers structured into a dome, and astral lights projected onto the walls. The lights and speakers are synced up to motion sensors that detect bodies moving through the space, and the lights and audio programming swell and surge along with the movement. The motion-mapping is done using four merging kinetic cameras realized with the vvvv toolkit for realtime visualization.
