Beyond LED:TRON-inspired Fashion

Clothes and swag fitted for The Grid.

The twenty-eight-year gap between the release of the original TRON film in 1982 and its 3D sequel, TRON: LEGACY, coming out this Friday, December 17th, might be the reason that TRON-inspired everything collaborations have completely inundated the retail market. We’ve spotted Daft Punk headphones, action figures, and even a fiberglass armchair, but we’re most impressed with the tech-forward, high-fashion popping up in unexpected places. From cult high-fashion boutique Opening Ceremony to the actual commissioned designer looks for the movie, minimalist attire dominates the styles with fitted bodices and pants, lazer-cut designs, pronounced collars, bomber jackets, Crayola hues and angular lines. See our favorite wearable TRON-inspired fashions below.
