Steal Back the Future in 'GTA V'

Los Santos is coursing with gigawatts!
Screencap via

Several gigawatts of awesome just got injected into Los Santos thanks to Grand Theft Auto V's Back to the Future mods. GTA Series Videos recreates the DeLorean's first iconic time-jump, replete with Einstein the dog inside. Sure, Doc Brown looks a little bit like more of an alcoholic, but that's Los Santos for you.

GTA Series Videos used the built-in Rockstar Editor and custom mods to create GTA 5 - Back to the Future. This brand of machinema remix has put Ai Weiwei, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, Captain Planet, and the country of New Zealand into the sandbox game, but this one might be the most nerd-friendly we've seen yet—solid competition for the Star Wars stunt speeder.

GTA 5 - Back to the Future launches days before Marty McFly's 2015 destination in Back to the Future 2, October 21st. Below, compare the video game version to the original footage. We won't blame you if you watch both on repeat for the next three days.
