Tev Woods Tugs at Heartstrings with His Trapdoor Records Follow-up, "Far From Home"

Every so often, a song comes along that—no matter how much you can lift, bro—puts you in touch with your softer side. "Far From Home" is such a song. Taken from an upcoming three-track EP bearing the same name, "Far From Home" comes on the heels of a series of phenomenalreleases by UK label Trapdoor Records and is the work of Rotterdam musician Tev Woods.

Piercing vocals grab you from the get go, well-timed keys string you along, risers build to a crescendo and sultry reverb swells before giving way to a pounding, percussive breakdown. It's lush, it's emotive, and it undeniably tugs at your heartstrings ever-so-gently.
