Johnny Trika Looks Through a Kaleidoscope Lens for the “Punk Fools” Music Video

There’s a little taste of techno and that dark, pinky light we never want to get close to.

SCI+TEC signed Montrealer Johnny Trika has been making a statement on stages across the minimal techno scene with his banging EP, Punk Fools. Directed by xCult, composed of Anthony Pecoraro and Dean H., the video compliments the track in its hypnotic simplicity. The kaleidoscope of trippy visuals and skateboard manoeuvres combined with the perfectly timed ambience of Trika's music makes it easy to lose yourself in the video. Although techno itself does not often lend itself to visual expression, in some instances, like this one, it's warranted.
