A rare four-hour Eric Prydz show scheduled to take place at Depot 52, a warehouse venue in Red Hook, Brooklyn, was shut down last night before it even began. In a statement, Teksupport, the promoters for the event, said the cancellation was due to, "a forced closure of the venue by local authorities."

Last night's show would have been the second of a two-night event. Friday, the first night of the event, reportedly went off without any issues, according to positive tweets from Teksupport and fans who attended.

Alex Blynn, a fan who works in PR and had tickets for last night's show, described the aftermath of the shutdown to THUMP. "Eric was supposed to go on at 1, we arrived at 12. There were cop cars everywhere with their lights flashing and dozens, possibly a hundred or so, bewildered ravers standing around in the (legit) 10f weather," Blynn said.

Blynn said he met many young ravers who specifically came to the city for this particular show and did not know what to do after the shutdown.

"Two girls were crying and said they'd flown in from Chicago and were staying at a hotel and had no idea what to do or where to go or even what was happening," said Blynn. "A group of pretty young ravers (I'd say 18, 19) had driven down 4 hours from upstate New York and told me they were going to have to just turn around and go back since not all of them were over 21. A big group of guys (said they were from Boston) were in a similar situation, were angry, confused, and started getting rowdy with the cops who were getting progressively louder with their megaphones."

Prydz was also upset about the situation, sharing his thoughts on social media and telling fans to not travel to the hard-to-reach venue.

Still Waiting for an official update, but do not travel to the show…

Since the cancellation, disgruntled fans have taken to social media to share their experiences, including waiting outside in the cold with no updates for more than an hour for the show to begin.

Teksupport released a statement last night. "Unfortunately after a sellout successful first night of our dual Eric Prydz shows, due to a forced closure of the venue by local authorities, tonight's event will no longer be taking place. We will update tonight's ticket buyers on Monday with the refund procedures."

A full statement is expected from the promoters. There is no word how this closure will effect future events at Depot 52.
