Tomorrow VICE will be in Manchester doing something completely different. As part of the Manchester International Festival, we are going to be taking a huge live census at the Albert Hall. The event will be a forum in which we can understand each others' alliances, subcultures and ideas. We'll be discussing the election, immigration and the power we can wield in a fluid political environment. The show features discussions, comedy and documentary screenings, with live contributions from Alfie Brown and Fern Brady, stars of VICELAND'S new stand-up show Brexit Stage Left; Saffiyah Khan and newly-elected Labour MP James Frith. There will be some very special contribution from Vice writers Zing Tsjeng, Sam Wolfson, Joel Golby and Joe Bish. There'll also be a panel discussion about the huge youth turnout at the election with politicians, campaigners, academics, and Rants N Bants the social media sensation, and the host of VICE's general election show Chat Shit Get Elected. Plus a brand new performance by the stars of Blackpool Grime.
