Video producer David Dean Burkhart edited clips of the Apollo 11 launch together and set it to Lower Dens’ “Nova Anthem,” off the band’s gorgeous just-out Nootropics. Pretty sure it’s not an “authorized” music video or even legit song upload, but it was the band itself that brought it to my attention via Twitter. So they’re presumably not too ripped about the whole thing. I’m pretty glad about that because this is perfect.Also: watch our own Apollo 11 fan video, and check this space over the next few days for an interview with Lower Dens’ Jana Hunter, who has a lot of good thoughts about being human in the post-human future and civilization’s “brains without a name.”
